The NEW Classic Yu-Gi-Oh! Format!
Hey! Have you heard of the new format Ancient Duel?
It’s no secret we need a new format in Yu-Gi-Oh! The current meta is entirely different from where the game first began. Tons of misplays, combo decks, hand traps galore. It’s just not the same.
Konami even acknowledges this by bringing Rush Duels into its new series and having their protagonist complain about current Yu-Gi-Oh!
Even further, Konami released several formats earlier this year, all of which aren’t supported or well designed. Have you seen Deck Master? A cool premise, but definitely super broken for a format.
The best we have to alternative formats is the almighty Goat format, which offers us some solace, but it never changes.
The Ancient Duel format is perfect for people looking to play with classic Yu-Gi-Oh! cards while ALSO diving into new deck experiences!
The card pool is akin to the popular Goat format, but the major twist is that Skill Cards and Champion Cards add new dynamics into the game!
Ancient Duel currently boasts 10 of each, leading to tons of combinations right off the bat, including a Champion Card that allows you to choose any monster as your champion!
The possibilities are limitless, so it’s time to dive in and duel!
