Behind the Bathing Suits of Vindicated’s Most Iconic Heroines
It may come as a shock, but we didn’t just slap random colors and patterns together for this swimsuit Card Drop.
Every single design was carefully chosen to fit each character’s personality, aesthetic, and story.
Let’s dive in (pun always intended). 🏖️
Emma — The Classic Cool
Emma’s design is the simplest of the bunch: white and blue, her two main character colors.
The pattern? Well… that’s a funny story. What you see now is actually a happy accident. The original pattern idea was vague, and in the shuffle, it morphed into this abstract design. Honestly? It works! It feels fresh and perfectly fits Emma’s calm but adventurous spirit.
Mary — The Elegant Ghost
For Mary's outfit, I drew inspiration from Weiss of RWBY fame (specifically the early seasons — you know the ones).
Normally, pale skin + white clothing can wash a character out, but with Mary’s ghostly, ethereal vibe, we leaned into it. The result? A swimsuit that's hauntingly beautiful, with just enough contrast to make her stand out while still feeling true to her spectral aesthetic.
Trixy — The Chaotic Charm
Trixy was the wild card. She’s playful, unpredictable, and a little mischievous, so her design had to pop.
Her swimsuit takes cues from Jinx’s original League of Legends design — bold, asymmetrical, and full of energy. On the left side, you’ll notice a pattern made of Vindicated symbols because… well, we can’t resist sneaking in a little worldbuilding even on beach day.
We had a blast designing these, and honestly, the process made me love the characters even more. Which design is your favorite?
